Monique studied with the Rosslyn Charlesworth School of Ballet and Dance, the Vienna State Opera and GITAS and Bolshoi schools in Russia and has danced professionally and adjudicated both in Australia and overseas. She has over 30 years teaching experience and is a member of the Commonwealth Society Of Teachers of Dance Inc., Australia and a registered teacher with Cecchetti Ballet Australia (A.C.B.A - C.I.C.B.).Monique has successfully trained students for examinations, productions and competitions in ballet, tap and jazz and has choreographed, designed and directed many concerts and productions. She recently trained with contemporary choreographer Jason Winters in the development of a new contemporary dance syllabus and she is always in high demand as an adjudicator.
Sharyn is a Vaganova Russian trained ballerina who has studied with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Cecchetti Ballet Australia. Sharyn's professional career highlights include touring nationally and internationally with West Australian Ballet, Queensland Ballet, Australian Opera, Australian Contemporary Dance Company, Sydney Dance Company and the Tasmanian Ballet Company.
Sharyn is a full member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Australian Teachers of Dancing Limited (ATOD) and is an International Dance Teachers Association and Cecchetti Ballet Australia Licentiate. She also owned a dance studio for over 20 years before joining Peninsula Ballet Ensemble/ CWDC-Peninsula.
Andrea commenced dance training at the age of eight and after graduating from the Australian Ballet School, was asked to join the Australian Ballet Company. Andrea danced with the Australian Ballet as a Coryphee, Soloist and Senior Artist and performed roles in some of the ballet greats including Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and Aurora and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty.Andrea went on to accepted an invitation from Graeme Murphy to join Sydney Dance Company where she danced soloist and principal contemporary roles including a duo specifically choreographed for her that received national and international acclaim. Andrea has performed extensively in Australia and around the world.
Natalie Mayor has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and tap since the age of four years and has successfully completed all of her Cecchetti Ballet exams, including Advanced 1, with Honours. She has also completed exams with Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD) and Southern Federation of Dance and in Year 12, completed VCE Dance with a high study score.
Natalie has competed and won numerous competitions and championships including the Phoenix Classical Cup and some of her highlights include dancing with the Kiev Ballet Company in their production of The Sleeping Beauty and winning the prestigious Victorian Ballet Teachers Workshop. Natalie also holds a Bachelor of Primary Education from Deakin University and has eight years experience working with children, with a particular love for teaching ballet at Peninsula Ballet Ensemble.
Jennii started dancing at the age of five at The Cherill Rowston School of Ballet. She began teaching with the school at the age of 16 and taught for 12 years before moving to the Mornington Peninsula. She has studied many forms of dance including classical ballet and jazz and has completed her Associate Diploma (Classical Ballet) with Cecchetti Ballet Australia and Associate Diploma (Jazz) with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Jennii has also completed her Bachelor of Education at Deakin University.
Employed at Dromana College, Jennii is a Head of Year and teaches Media Studies, Dance and Indonesian and runs the school’s Dance Enhancement program. She is also called on regularly to complete assessments of students at a number of ballet schools across Melbourne. Dance has always been a part of Jennii’s life and she is very excited to be back teaching dance in the private sector and especially thrilled to be teaching at Peninsula Ballet Ensemble.
Teisha has been teaching all styles of dance for the past 12 years, and has qualifications with Australian Teachers of Dance, Acrobatic Arts and The Acrobatic Dance Association along with her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management. She began dancing at the young age of two under the guidance of her mother Sharyn Peters. At the age of 12 she was offered a full scholarship to the Victorian College of the Arts. She has performed with Masters of Choreography, along with being cast as a lead role in multiple musical theatre shows including Grease and Highschool Musical. Teisha competed in the dance competition circuit until the age of 20, winning multiple prestigious awards and championships and has also completed all of her Cecchetti exams achieving honours for each exam. Teisha's favourite style of dance to teach and perform is contemporary/lyrical.
Gemma’s love for dance started at the age of six. As a student she has enjoyed learning many forms of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary and has competed in dance competitions as both a soloist and troupe member. She has completed Cecchetti Ballet Australia, Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD) and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams and is currently studying Cecchetti Major Advanced 1 and VCE Dance. Some of Gemma’s highlights include feature roles in Peninsula Ballet Ensemble productions including Aladdin and Coppelia and completing The Acrobatic Dance Association Assistant Teacher Training workshop. After assisting for a number of years, Gemma is excited to now be teaching and sharing her love of dance.
Kiarna began dancing with Peninsula Ballet Ensemble in 2012 and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and drama. She has completed Cecchetti Ballet Australia, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD) and VCE Drama exams and has a Certificate III in Dance. With a passion for choreography, Kiarna has been involved in a number of school productions including Guys and Dolls, Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz and has danced and choreographed specialist sequences. She has also taken part in dance competitions as a soloist and troupe member and competitive theatre sports as part of a Victorian-state winning team.
Narelle has 36 years of teaching experience, opening her own school in 1995, South Eastern Academy of Dance which later became South Eastern Allstars. Her school incorporated the South Eastern Allstars, CSTD syllabi, RAD and Cecchetti methods. SEA won many AASCF National Dance and Cheer titles and had a high level of success in various competitions. Narelle has guided the careers of many professional performers, produced dance and cheerleaders teachers and coaches. SEA won 2015 AASCF “hit zero” Hall of Fame for Cheerleading .
Narelle’s students have achieved very successful results in CSTD Tap, Jazz and Contemporary examinations . Many students gaining their CSTD certificates and diplomas. She trained the 2012 winner of CSTD Betty Tilly Junior Classical Encouragement Award for Victoria.

Peta started dancing at the age of 7 at Reflexions Dance Studio in Burnie, Tasmania where she trained in various such as jazz, ballet and hip hop.
In 2003 Peta made the move to Melbourne to further her studies in dance and started full time training at Dance Factory. By 2005 Peta had completed her Certificates 3, 4 & Diploma in Dance & Performance. Whilst there at Dance Factory Peta’s professional career began. Some of her career highlights have been; Bollywood film ‘Salaam Namaste’, Norwegian Cruise Lines, AFL Grand Final, Dubai Rugby 7’s and Rugby 7’s World Cup cheerleader, Grand Prix, Tokyo Disneyland Face Character, along with various TVC, corporate and charity events throughout Australia.
Peta’s teaching career commenced at the early age of 16. But in most recent years Peta has found a passion for coaching competitive Pom teams. During the 6 years she was Pom Coach at South Eastern All Stars, her teams gained success over the years with outstanding results at the AASCF All Star Competitions including a number of National Championship wins. Peta is excited to be working at CWDC in 2022, continuing to build her love and passion for coaching Pom.
